River house on the Pedernales wedding | Krista & Ryan – Spicewood, TX

Krista & Ryan tied the knot at the gorgeous River house on the Pedernales! It was a warm June day but right before the bride walked down the aisle a giant thick cloud sat on the ceremony site and gave everyone some great shade and along with the breeze made a magical ceremony. Live Oak DJ rocked the tunes and the restaurant Verde catered. Enjoy my favorite photos from the day!

“The River House on the Pedernales is a destination venue in the Texas Hill Country, just outside of Austin, Texas. We are situated on 36 beautiful acres on a cliff overlooking the Pedernales River. We consider this venue a secluded, river abode, though the drive from Austin is not far. The venue offers plenty of room for a group of people to stay and sleep comfortably for a weekend get-away.

The reception barn is made with cedar beams and includes an upper floor balcony that looks over the river. The barn is enclosed, heated and air conditioned. There is a concrete slab attached to the barn that fits a tent perfectly (more room for mingling).Between the reception barn and the main house is a stone smoker grill with two stone tables for amazing outdoor cooking experiences overlooking the river.

We recommend the venue for weddings, family reunions, private retreats, corporate retreats, yoga get-aways, etc. There are so many possibilities on this amazing picturesque landscape and so much room for everyone to stay.”
